Current Research
Simulation of the coastal circulations; modeling of turbulence under sea and ice leads; resonant interaction between surface winds and upper ocean turbulence.
Turbulence Dissipation during a Westerly Windburst: LES Results
Eric studies the interactions between ocean, ice and atmosphere using highly-resolved numerical simulations that directly capture the physics responsible for the turbulent transports. In this project, his models will help the team interpret our observations and help to generalize these to a broader parameter space.
