Mandayam. He is currently an Engineering Intern with Qualcomm Modem Systems Group, working on developing and simulating new uplink models and algorithm for 5G modems. He received the Gary Thomas Doctoral Fellowship from NJIT (Annually $54,000), form 2014 to 2016 academic years. He is interested in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of 5G wireless HetNets, machine learning, game theory and prospect theory. Specifically, he is interested in developing adaptive models and algorithms for joint user association and resource optimization in 5G HetNets, to enable new 5G applications for end-users like URLLC while also optimizing SPs resources and increasing their revenue. He is the Recipient of several awards, including the 2020 IEEE Communications Society Phoenix ISS Award ($2,500) in May 2020, Professional Development Funds from Rutgers University form 2017 to 2018 academic years.
